Retail Customer Experience Sourcing

Strategic Sourcing is an important role in any business. Sourcing professionals are influential and highly-visible people within a company. However, sourcing work is often not visible to the public. I was responsible for understanding the business’ needs and goals, gathering & aligning stakeholders, collecting & analyzing marketing intelligence, building & maintain supplier relationships, negotiating contract terms & conditions, negotiating & managing pricing, and determining strategies to meet business goals. This is relationship based work that relies on analytical skills, creative problem solving, along with collaboration, influence & persuasion skills.

My experience producing 2D & 3D marketing, visual merchandising, and fixtures helped build credibility with business partners across Gap Inc’s brands and among leadership. I’ve managed the following RCX Sourcing Categories at Gap Inc: Store Design & Visual Merchandising Fixtures & Furniture, Direct Mail & Catalog, Windows & In-store Marketing.
